Role: Developer/Senior Developer
Reports To: Lead / Technical Architect
Overall Job Purpose:
This role is based in India with possible hybrid working in Chennai Office. It includes regular interaction with other geographically located teams.
Has to work on Development for IT e-Commerce Application and also provide support for applications used by Direct Wines global business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Development and implementing build, deployment.
• Use the industry best practice for code development and code fixing in production systems.
• Build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools using an Agile delivery methodology.
• Working closely with our other IT teams for problem resolution.
• Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems.
• Organize the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively.
• Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developers.
• Maintains and supports IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.
Qualifications:
Essential
• Degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Science or related field.
Desirable
• Additional professional IT qualifications would be an advantage.
Experience:
Essential (5+ Years of experience)
• Candidate should have experience in Microservices designs including patterns for Events & stateless architectures
• AWS Serverless skills (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, Event bridge, CloudWatch, permissions, accounts, multi accounts, streams)
• JavaScript, Node.js and Typescript
• Ci/CD pipelines specifically deploying to AWS
• Bitbucket & GIT
Desirable
• Any modern eCommerce including Commerce Tools is preferable.
